Personal Firewall and DirecPC

To allow Personal Firewall and DirecPC to function correctly on the same computer:

1) Open Personal Firewall

2) Click the Application Settings tab in the lower left hand corner

3) Right click anywhere on the right hand side and select Add New Application

4) Add dpcnav.exe and diagapp.exe. Both stored in the DirecPC installation directory (by default this is C:\Program Files\DirecPC\bin)

5) After you add these two files, click once on the file name and then click Add New

a) dpcnav.exe needs to be configured to allow UDP traffic on any port, both local and remote.

b) diagapp.exe also needs to be configured to allow UDP traffic on any port, both local and remote.

6) Add the following resources under the System Services mention in the Application Settings tab:

a) Allow UDP Packet for incoming and outgoing on port "any" for local and 1031 for remote.

b) Allow UDP Packet for incoming and outgoing on port "any" for local and 1027 for remote.

c) Allow UDP Packet for incoming and outgoing on port "any" for local and 5897 for remote.
